Parent Meeting

There will be a mandatory informational meeting for parents and players in grades 4-8 on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 7:00 pm at the Willmar High School gym.  Please review the “Willmar Basketball Booster Guidelines” for full program information.  Parents will meet in groups following the information portion of the meeting to determine coaches, team liaisons, and practice schedules.

Uniform samples will be available at this meeting for determining players' sizes.  Players & parents may show up between 6:30-6:55pm to view the uniform samples.

Registration Deadline

Please print and bring your registration forms to the meeting.  We'd like all registrations and related forms turned in that night.  For those not able to attend the meeting, the final deadline for registrations and uniform orders is Friday, 11/2/2012.  Mail your forms to the WBBA address on the form.  We will be unable to guarantee jersey and shorts sizes after this date and a late fee of $20 may be assessed to all late registrations.  

 Fees & Forms

The fee to participate is $130 for all 4^th-8^th graders.  This participation fee is due at the time of registration.   The fee includes participation in up to four (4) tournaments and a reversible white/red basketball jersey and shorts. (A limited number of scholarships may be available – please contact a board member to get a scholarship application). The signed Medical Treatment Consent Form, Sportsmanship Agreement, Registration Form and fee are all due by the registration deadline. No player will be allowed to practice or play until all forms are turned in.  Forms are available on the web site under the REGISTRATION tab. 

 Willmar Tournament:  February 23-24, 2011

All teams will participate in our Willmar tournament on February 23-24, 2011.  This is the main fundraising event for the Willmar Basketball Booster program.  All parents are expected to help work the admissions gate and/or concession stand during this tournament, so please mark your calendar now! If you would like to be on the tournament planning committee, please contact a board member.  We will call you and ask you to help if you don’t sign up voluntarily.
