WBBA Mission

The Willmar Basketball Boosters Association (WBBA) is a non-profit organization, formed in 1995, with the primary purpose of promoting the game of basketball for Willmar school district boys and girls in grades 3-8. The WBBA program strives to provide opportunities for Willmar School District youth to learn and play the game of basketball through a traveling basketball program which promotes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship and a positive experience.

 

Support / Fundraising

Willmar Booster Basketball Association  supports  Willmar Cardinals basketball  and the School District through its fundraising efforts.  These are just some of the items provided by WBBA through the years:

  • Cameras for live streaming activities in the gym
  • Replace set of Varsity uniforms annually
  • Dr Dish Shooting Machine
  • Annual subscription to Hudl (Video / Statistics Software)
  • State Tournament Fan Buses
  • State Tournament Team Breakfasts 
  • Cash donations to High School weight room
  • New scoreboards for High School gym  ($25,000)
  • Shot clocks at High School gym ($6,000)
  • Padded player and coach’s bench chairs for games  ($3,500)
  • New scorer’s table for High School gym  ($5,400)
  • Updated Cardinal logo on High School gym floor ( $940)
  • Repaired and refinished Roosevelt floor ($500+)
  • Scoreboards for Roosevelt gym ($6000)
  • Middle School Jerseys ($4000+)
  • Middle School Scoreboard Upgrades
